Um, I almost forgot, we all started over at Trucks on Monday and the first issue we (the old StreetTrucks staff) are going to be working on is number 41. If you have any comments or ideas of what you would like to see in the new magazine, you can e-mail me at courtney@tenmagazines.com or Brian McCormick at brian@tenmagazines.com with your comments and ideas.

Thanks for all the support over the years guys and gals, we're working really hard to try to turn Trucks into your new favorite magazine. We're still the same old truck guys, just like everybody else and really enjoy hearing feedback from folks about what they like and what they don't like.

Man that's too bad, StreetTrucks is the only truck magazine that I still subscribe to. I hope it doesn't go down hill now that two instrumental pieces are leaving... BMC and your editorials were the only ones I ever cared to read... might have to switch subscriptions.

Project Double ugly was an 1950's Dodge Panel truck (I believe) being built by Steve and the progress was being followed along in the magazine. Minitruckin' Diaries is from the early and mid 1990's issues and they are all definetly worth reading.

The entire editorial staff left as far as I know. Mike Self, Courtney, BMC, Steve...Trucks will be the new Street Trucks, but better.

BOOGER is wrong... sort of.

Kenny Paul wrote a mini-truck column for Truckin' Magazine back in the 1980s before Mini-Truckin' magazine started. It was sort of why they decided to do a little spin-off magazine in the first place. Kenny started talking to the readers of Truckin' who owned mini-trucks and they realized there was enough of an audience to do a complete magazine for mini-truckers.

Actually, Mini-Truckin Diary started in 1990 by Brian McCormick in the 2nd issue (Winter of 1989) and ran for a little while before the name of the column was changed to Yo' Mike (even though Brian continued to write it -- yeah, I didn't get it either). Anyway, the column eventually ddied and was resurrected in the January 1993 issue by some new kid named Wyatt Strange.

Well actually Sir Tito, "Yo Mike" began in the Summer 1989 issue of MT (third issue) and for the life of me I can't remember who in the hell actually wrote it. I think it might have been Alan. In the Spring 1990 issue, "Yo Mike" became "Mini-Truckin' Diary" and was written by Pete Yunger. I started writing the MT Diary column two issues later (Fall 1990). I think it was discontinued a year or two later because of the abusive overuse of the word "dude". BMC

First off, this old skool stuff makes me feel old. Second, BRING BACK THE DIARIES, I also used to look forward to the the bi-monthly issues. And miss the Mazdog.
