I pretty much understand how the hybrid suspension works but i was curious on how to get the hydraulic fluid into the lines with little or no air? Any pointers or pictures you guys have would be awesome!!! We are putting this setup in a 98 altima and it has mac struts and i dont want to use strutbags. I think i am going to use black magic cylinders and have all my air stuff. thanks for any info.

You should juice it all the way around. As for not having air in the lines, you have to bleed them once you have everything in. Pretty much the same as you would bleed your brakes.

i start with the car layed out, fill the hose attached to the cylinder at the wheel completly... then extend the cylinder at the bag (i used 2 at the bag) & fill unil oil starts to come out of cylinder, connect hose & put a little air presure in the bag. then loosen hose to bleed. it will also help you level out yhe setup

i think i get it. still got a few more. when adding fluid did you do it with the line straight and add with just a funnel cap it off then run it or did you run the line and then fill it from the trunk with a funnel? if you even use a funel? and whats the diffrence between fat stick cylenders and reg. should i was fat sticks and the wheels cause there mac struts and the stress is high or use regular. thanks again.

just use regular cylinders or more commonly called mediums. I've been told skinny's will bend or break on a macpherson setup and fatty's are over kill

I really don't understand the whole hybrid suspension setup. Could someone break it down for me??? Thanks

its basicly a regular hydro with airbags pushing a cylender inthe trunk full of fluid and forcing the fluid to the cylenders at the wheels. 2 cylenders per wheel, one is extended and other is pushed in with the line full of oil. if you force onein the other gos out. you fill the airbag to force the cylender in trunk closed and that in ture forces the cylender at the wheel up.relase air bag presure to make the cylender in the trunk extended again (laying out the car)

any one now how to fill the lines(funnel?)with line straight or after its been routed in the car. chris(gotmods) over a month ago you said hybrid was to much matinace, what maintance is there?(i think it was U) Thanks

i have check valves, so when the system needs fluid i just hook up the hydraulic pump and bump it a few times. takes less than 5 minutes
