helping on my friend's edge..

my friend is home for maybe 15 days, hes in the marines.. and he got all of the parts to back the back of his truck and do a 4link around thanksgiving. well they bought a flux core welder and a few people attempted to weld the outer plate of one side's notch in place and im sure you can imagine what it was like.. well this was around 3:30 am so there wasnt any way for me to go get my welder. this morning i got mine and dragged all my shit down the street to his house and helped out all day.. i ran out of wire/gas a little while ago, so hes picking all that up tomorrow.. here's the pics, I actually got farther, the top caps of the notches are on now, just forgot to take pics..

Just an update.. I finished the notches, then someone bumped the gauge on my regulator so I had to order a new one the cali combo is close to done but needs a little more work. heres some pics:

Thanks guys! A few people were trying to tack stuff in place and ran one bead down the outside plate of one side's notch.. with a flux cored welder, and it was nasty.. Cant wait to finish it all up though, hopefully the gauge comes in tomorrow for the regulator. We already have all the brackets/bridge bars/crossmember ready to weld. He has to drive it back to North Carolina on the 26th
