Air Cylinders on f/s truck

Where would be a good place to look for aircylinders for the front of a fullsize truck with a v8?Just need something big enough to lift the weight and a 10" stroke

i wasnt meaning for that to come off rude. just curious. cylinders will ride shitty, they might need rebuilding. and with that much weight you would probably still need to run shocks because it would be very bouncy. also the extra steps in just mounting them. if you have dimensions you want it to be you can go to a parker store and order a cylinder. but it is going to be pricy. the std air ride cylinders that everyone uses wont hol dup and they only have like a 4" stroke

its gonna take some serious psi to get them up to! just stick to slams or do a hybrid set up with airbags and hydro cylinders

I have limited room in front... its either hydros or air cylinders ...

the back is already air, im not changing it ...

I dont have a parker store near me but I do have a grainger ... they sell "speedaire" cylinders, but are they any good?

I personally think that time and money you would put into putting air cylinders wouldn't be worth it when you done. You'd have to get some the get at least 6 inches of lift and I think it would be hard to get some that have to right weight rating for the big truck. In fact even if you find some that can lift the truck, they would be huge and take a hell of a lot more space and time rather than run a bag or hydro set.
Anywaze, it's just my opinion. Maybe I'm understanding what it taking up so much room in your engine compartment.

the control arms are mounted closer to the motor then normal .... a bag is already a tight fit on "stock" f150s

to be honest with you i dont see it working. It takes me a good 200psi in the front to get all the way up and that only in a v6 car. Even then with all the pressure it cracked the top around the snap rings. For me havin em on my car for about 2 yrs now i would definately suggest staying away from em. They just arent made to be used and abused even by normal everyday wear and tear. The hassle from them just isnt worth it in the long run

the guy didint want to change the cans for bags in the front (chepo) it already was baged by some hack shop so he just whanted it to work so I replumbed it and ran a nitrogen bottle to it and I had to crank it up to 300 psi just to get it to un tuck need less to say I won't be waranting that hunk of junk. If I was you I would look into baggs on top of the a-arms or get juicy. but don't can it thear made for cars.
