DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A COMPANY THAT SELLS A VIAIR 450 COMPRESSOR CHEAPER THAT $189 WITH FREE SHIPPING ? DO YOU THINK I SHOULD RUN A PRESSURE SWITCH ? IF SO WHAT IS A GOOD ONE?

I have a chrome 450 I'll sell. It is used however it was only used for about a week till i decided to get a engine driven for my S10. still in very good condition.

I think that the little compressors are garbage, i used 2 450's and had to replace them twice, i had them on a 185psi switch.

also they are only rated for 150psi, you might want to look into the viair480 compressors. or put out the money for an oasis 1000.

And you just answered why you had to replace them..hardly junk they work fine when you use them within the set psi limits. If your looking to run more psi then buy bigger comps. or run nitrogen, but I don't see that being viair's fault that you burned out the compressors for running to high of a psi

I've ran the hell out of my 450's and they are still ticking. I dont run a pressure switch so there have been times i forgot to turn them off and my gauge was stuck at 200psi, but still no problems. Im very pleased with them. I should get my oasis around x-mas time though!

Ive got 1-450 right now and it pumps they hell out of my 12 gallon tank.. It Takes quite the beating and its still runnin strong. Never had any problems...

i've got 2 450's and two 3 gallon tanks.
i hate them, it takes waaaay to long to fill, but they sure have been ticking along time, ive had them for about 5 years now.

Bullshit, 185 is not too high I ran my 450s at 200 hundred psi for 2 years. Never a single problem
