rams laying on 24s

I just wanted to know how much you shortened your rear end to lay on a 24x10 with 6.25" of bs. Ive been pricing some out but i just wanted to know what i was getting myself into. It would be cool if the ford 9" was narrow enough. ..........



It would also be cool to lay out with out binding and as much camber

you can get a ford 9" built to spec fairly inexpensive. or find a 9" at a junk yard and have it shortened. they are the SBC of differentials. lots of parts and services available for them.

i know thats why i was looking at them...and there also 4" narrower.

they are all different sizes but they r cheap to narrow to what u need them to be is what he's saying

yea i know that, the one i need to get in perticular is 4" shorter off of an early 90s f-150 because it has the same bolt pattern as my ram.

does anybody know if this guy is on here?

i think devious customs bd a ram on 24's maybe give them a call and ask

The silver one on there site is not body dropped... however 3g Stock Z'd ram is .75 an inch from layin body (Unless it has been done since the pictures

I would prefer narrowing over ford 9inch..

dave the difference is several hundred dollars. My friend in ct got his 9.25" rear shortened like 3 inches and it cost him about 800, i can get a ford rearend, pep it up and haev it installed for less then 250.

plus its alredy got the same bolt pattern
