i got the runs

i like how in the picture of that paint gun the chair is in focus and the paint gun is blurry lol
if you sand basecoat you have to put more basecoat over it before you clear it otherwise you will see the spot you sanded. its better just to do it right dont try to save it just cause you are out of paint. at a show are you going to explain to people it looks weird cause you ran out of paint? or would you rather be like yea it looks sweet i did it right and it looks good.

If the run is think enough, I'd cut it off with a razor first, then sand, that should keep from burning through around the run.

Most paint shops sell little inexspensive "Run shavers" that you can buy and are especially made for that...Its worth a try.

man have i learned a thing or two from building my truck. one of them is take your damn time and do shit right. the lazy man always works twice as hard. if it's white it should be pretty cheap anyway. unless you have done it before i wouldn't suggest trying to sand out a base run. just go get some more paint and do it right. matt is rugh. when you go to a show the shit is going to get nit picked so if you don't plan on trying to defend yourself all day at shows then just get some more paint and be careful next time.
