Sata or Sharpe are great guns we use those in the shop.

I use a Sata RP 2 but Im sure thats a little more cash than you are lookin to spend. About $400 with a hookup. I use a Sata Minijet for smaller things such as air tanks, motorcycles, even a panel or two. They are around $300 but you can get them for less. I got mine for $220. But then again you cant primer with it. But its definately a kickass base/clear gun. The smaller tip will bust up the flake in metallics like nothing else and it busts up the clear so a slick job is easy.

is there a good website to buy these paint guns from? i also want an all around gun, to lay down primer, and base coat/clear coat.

I have a Devilbiss Finishline 3 gun. It came with 1.5mm and a 1.8mm tip. Its a good all around gun. You can spray base/clear or single stage urethanes using the 1.5 tip and the 1.8 works good for heavier primers. I've seen the guns for anywhere from $120 to $200 depending on the setup. You can try looking at www.autobodydepot.net if you are looking for something online.

you can get good prices on the internet, but you have to search... the place with the best price on a RP will sell a finishline for more money, etc. i have found sata rps (non digital) for 360, and a devilbiss finishline for 96 bucks. i use a gti milennium everyday and i like it all right, my first spray gun though, i will be picking up an rp w/ a 1.3 tip and a finishline w/ a 1.5 (for my primer) soon.
