Just remember, doing something to be diffrent is just as bad as doing something to go along with the crowd. In the end, its all about what *YOU* like.

I did it for a while, and all it did was make me have to replace my trunk lid. Here's a link (I can't figure out the HTML code to post a photo):

When I did mine, I actually wound up cutting into the panel that goes over the trunk support beam, and fabricating my own method of flipping.

It was cool at the shows, when I hat it displaying my system, but when I couldn't get my trunk shut at the store then I decided enough was enough and changed it out to something else.

If you need help, just let me know. BTW, what kind of car are you doing this to? The biggest thing you need to look at is whether your support beams bolt to the outside of the trunk, or slide inside.

Oh...ALSO!!!! Make sure you have someone help you when you take the trunk lid off, put a blanket or cusion over the back window, and BE CAREFUL!!! I've seen too many windows get shattered because people were working solo, or dropped the trunk lid on the back window accidentally. It only take a little tap with a piece of metal that heavy.
