my fuel cell is going to be half and half in the bed and below it so the filler will be on the cell.

i got a 20 gallon from jegs i think and cut the factory unit out of the tank and grafted it in the top of my cell of course you have to shorted the plumbing for the pump but then run lines and your good
Low_SST   +1y
what plumbing did you shorten?
ramslam1998   +1y
the plumbing that goes to the pump just allow yourself a little so the pump is not right on the bottom

are you referring to the metal hose under the pump itself? My pump is going to be sitting pretty much on the bottom.

how did you do that anyways?, its crimped on there pretty good.

just cut it out and use a flaring tool and connector to reattach

would it be a big deal if it wasnt cut down? my cell is deep enough for the pump...its like 12" from the factory and it has a 1/4" spacer.

i dont know if this is universal but a friend of mine had his dodge done and with the fuel cell and an aftermarket fuel pump it ran like poo. with a dodge there is no return fuel line and you need to keep the factory fuel pump

but u have the return line off the regulator.......jus hook it up to a wet fuel pressure gauge.......dial her up to the factory psi...i went a few pounds over to help out my cam, heads and injectors...........but she ran great till the pump went out
