thanks for all the input guys. K93 sounds pretty nice, the local guy sells it for $125 a gallon. I think im gonna go this route if I can get away with shooting that over my existing epoxy primer.

maybe some of you can help me.. i have a white tintable primer and i added alot of orange and now i have pink.. im looking for orange or red, what can i add to get out of this pink?

Add yellow to the pink to make it more orange. I was mixing up some peach primer for my truck and kept getting pink when I would add just orange too. Just a little bit of yellow fixed mine up. More yellow should bring it back to orange

a company by the name of U-pol makes some tintable primer that they say will make any color with the packs of tinting die that comes with it. i think the web is U-pol.com

heres a little helper on using K93. even though the mix ratio is 4:1:1:1 (K93:base:hardner:reducer) make your reducer 1.5 or 2 parts. since your pretty much just going to be using this as a sealer and not a filler, it will lay out better being a tad over reduced. and use DT885 reducer.

From what I am reading, and from what I know, the answer to the question he asked is no, it cant be tinted.

But you can buy tintable primers. Which you can also buy colored primers as well. But they recommend that you dont add paint to a regular non tintable primer because they wount gaurentee it. In the end, its all up to your discretion. K93 is a nice product though.

mp170 is not tintable but mp182 is its mp182 w/mp165 5:1 then that mixed 4:1 with mkcolor
