Dude that is kick ass you now i know how to do mine ow did you get the steel to bend the curve with out heating it?

that looks really good. that was actually real close to what im plannin on doin with mine but i was going to get wider barstock, tig spacers in then toss it on a mill to cut the shape out.

The grille is actually made out of aluminum. To bend it I clamped each strip in the vise and used a rubber mallet to SLOWLY bend it to shape. A couple decent wacks about 6" away from the vise can make a pretty good bend so be careful and practice on an extra piece first.

The only downside to the mill idea is on a 1" bar you might run pretty thin at the ends. Also the grille has a stagger from top to bottom that you would need to account for. The tig idea would be a better way to go overall but unfortunately that is not available to me

I have a question. How does it mount to the grill itself?
I was thinking of doing a phantom grill and was not sure how to attach this to the grill.
