Engine driven compressor, a/c pump, grease conversion

sanden compressors were put in several makes and models, theres alot of info about sanden's on the web, take a second and goto google and search sanden compressors, you will be very surprised at all the different sites, and the amouth of info thats out there, theres also companies that rebuild them and sell parts for them.

i know i need a stainless line from my compressor but god damn. i run it hard and i blow my line... anyone else have this problem? i have just plastic diesel fuel line from it to my water seperator (2') its the same as dot air line, just higher temp and brown. but my buddie has a york on his s10 and he can run that bish as hard as he wants with just a 1/2" plastic air line going to it and has never had a problem.. im assuming the york oil compressors run cooler than the sandens?

A 99 darango says it has a sanden but it has a 3 wire hook up

the sandens do run hot. you will need something other then plastic line.

When I did mine, I ran a long piece of brake line about halfway back on the truck. Jus found adapters to make a flare fitting screw into a NPT pipe thread application. flexible stainless line would be better but its expensive as crap.

Question, where are you guys getting these filters for the grease? Any pictures of these compressors setup in the vehicle?

emjay this setup dont look any different then a factory a/c compressor (which it is but has been converted to pump air). only difference other then it pumping air and not a/c would be the line coming off the back and a breather filter for the inlet side. line coming out of the outlet to a tank.

im so trying this when i get the time to get one of these ac compressors.lol

cmiller if you didn't have factory air you will need to find an ac bracket or fab one.
