If your pix have been uploaded to the site, you need to make sure the album privacy is set to public, not private which is the default setting...

I think he means "Torsen" type... after that, I can't follow either.

Anyone know if this also applies to the 79-85 2.0?

I don't think this applies to the preseries trucks

It sure would be nice if he would come back on the site and elaborate on this more. Pictures would help too!

OK guys, I can help here - I have done these swaps and can tell you what works and the easiest way.
B2200 - use 1st gen RX-7 LSD - take the LSD unit out and bolt it into your pumpkin, no other mods needed.
B2600 (4x4 and 2wd) - use FC or FD RX-7 LSD (again take out LSD unit and install in your pumpkin) BUT - these RX-7's are IRS rear ends and have no spacer in the center of the diff - the diff pin in the 2600 stock diff acts as a spacer to keep the outer axle bearing preload correct so you will need to make a suitable spacer - I used a 19mm impact socket and cut it to the right length - I also got a bunch of the oem B2600 shims from the wrecking yard so I could properly shim the bearings -
I have run this setup in my S/C 5.0 swapped truck for years with zero issues.

Great news. Do you have any pics if the install process for a 2600? Is it the same for a 2600i? Also, which pin are you talking about? The pin through the spider gears?

2600 and 2600i should be the same (they use mazda 8" ring gear)
Yes I mean the pin through the spider gears, if you look, the ends of the axles butt up against it and allow the tapered roller bearings to have the proper clearance.
I am going to do this again soon so I'll try to take pics.
