The accumulators that AIM sells are just two 1/2 gallon tanks welded together with separate chambers. 1/2 gallons is way too much air. I tried it that way and I could push my car to the ground by the back bumper.

I used these tanks

You could run air tools off of the compressor but not for very long. You will run out of air too quick. I have an attachment to blow up air mattresses at shows and innertubes when I float down the river.

I am using AIM 4inch in front and SMC 3.5s in the back

god damn it.. i just thought of another question i had for you guys.... on my air cylenders there are ports on the top and on the cylender itself... now i just going to be using the top one.. however, is it ok to just leave the bottom one open or should it be filtered somehow? cause i would think water and shit would get in there.... thanks guys...

YOU CAN LEAVE IT OPEN BUT SOME PEOPLE SAY TO USE THE LITTLE FILTERS BUT IT WILL SLOW YOUR LIFT.

i just priced out the cylinders from mic, i read here that they sold smc's, but it dosn't say that on their site.
i also saw that you can get 100mm,150mm,200mm stroke. so thats 4"6" and 8" stroke. there was a $20 difference from one to the next, but will they all fit ?
will the 200mm stroke sit the same as the 100mm stroke when aired out ?
