well vehicles have been equipped with airbags for forever, so replacing a coilspring with an airspring doesnt seem that big of a leap. hey terry should he put swaybars front and back on the body too??

oh and can you imagine the sides this beast would hit, what with the body rolling when it gets rocked side to side..........

@ front and back sway bars

Well the front sheet metal clip, i'm assuming cause of the larger wheels would have it's own subframe or structure on it's own, wheel tub or tubing connecting the core support to the firewall so nothing get's tweeked.

For the ride quality, i'm assuming 99% of the time he'll be riding with the body aired out and the suspension obsorbing the shock of the road. If anything he could hook up an actuated locking pin to keep the body pressed against a rubber bushing, and keep it from bouncing up and down off what ever bump stop he's using when they are dropped. And the fact that he's using so many cylinders, that really don't have that much give on thier own, should be rigid enough to force alot of the vibration to the bags even if he was riding on both for a short period of time.

I'm thinking he's doing this mainly for the WTF factor, which needs no excuse in my book, so i'm all for it.

you are 100% right.

i am glad there are some people that can see the innovative side of original modifications.

im not hating, just taking the idea and thinking of ways that it wont work properly. i guarantee you it will not be safe enough to drive alot.

it is 100% safe.

just as safe as stock.

worst case scenario is the body wont raise.

normal daily driving i will mostly just use the suspension lift not the body lift.

couldn't be any more dangerous than having a fitting blow on the freeway

i say fuck yeah, alot of guys thought the big wheel craze would slow down minitruckin once people started putting 22's on s-10's and nissans, now we've got guys doing adjustable bodydrops

you tell a minitrucker he can't do something, and he'll figure out some way to get it done, that's why i love this lifestyle, something new is always happening in somebody's garage that's never been done beforeWell said MATT!!
