yeh, i wouldn't use a lithium grease, if only for the reason that it collects dirt and grime like a mofo, worse than WD 40

Yea it was Valvoline Grease. And it works fine for me, havent had any problems. Thats what they use on bucket loaders and what not in our area so I dont see why it would be bad on a car air cylinder.
