i have a 95 s-10 blew the 2.2 and bought a 2000 2.2 thought i could take my 95 intake and out it on the 2000 but it wont fit...does any one know how to wire in the 2000 ?

or would it be easier to just drop a 350/350 down in her thats carborated...

350 will work but its a pain as well. just sell the motor from the 2000 and have the 95 rebuilt. Or just smallblock it

if you wanna put that 2000 motor in your truck

you'll hafta run the newer model 98+ transmission, the new wiring harness, computer, and take the time to swap EVERYTHING

ehhh i'm not sure how different the 1st gen is from the 2nd gen but me and my dad dropped a 355 in my 90 s10 and it was cake. Got the new motor mounts, yanked the computer (cause it was carbed) plumbed it and it was a done deal. i can't imagine the two models being that different in the engine bay but i could very well be wrong

95 is a second gen 94-97 is a non vortec 2.2 98 and up is vortec you have to get the transmission and all the wireing Might as well get the dash and gauges to
