I'm regestered but havn't been there in probably 2 months.

i've been looking auround there the guy is allso on the forum i hang out most off the time :

there a friendly bunch on there no flaming and getting eachother down or anything , lot of know how on old(er) trucks on there

thanks for the offer but i need one thats 25 years old or verry close to it (it prolly take me another year to get the truck done enough to get it on the road again )
see when a car/truck is 25 years or older in the netherlands the owner doesnt have to pay roadtax for the car no more .
roadtax here is going by the weight of the car and the type of fuel , my pickup IS a 1986 C10 bout 2250 kilo and running on propane and it would costs me 1865 euro per year (2300 dollars) just to be able to have it parked on the public road without getting fined , i have the title suspended now so i dont have to pay roadtax anymore but i cant drive it now untill i activate the title again , add to that the fuelconsumption of 1 liter of 0.61 dollar propane gas every 4 maybe 5 kilometers and it all becomes obviously clear why i would go through all that throuble to make the truck older than it actually is .

practicing my hobby is costing me an arm and a leg in parts and gas alone

let me know if you find a title and VINplate for a C30 out of 1981/82 i'm willing to give a good price on it
