have you looked at your check valve? I had the same prob and my compressor would run for ever ( i had a realy with a press switch) i found that my check valve was stuck close...so i sprayed some WD-40 on the valve and went about my business...hope this helps

i took it out to see if that was wrong & still no change

thats what i thought too, but how would it do it to front & back? I checkthe back & found nothing wrong with the lines. I didn't check the front yet

found out what was wrong. Turns out my 8 gallon tank is too big for my Tomas 337 compressor. I was only running 1 of them instead of 2 so it burned up. Oh well, i wont make that mistake again

If your valves are sticking or having cor. buildup call AFC @ 269-781-1111. Tell them you need some replacement plungers and yours are corroding. (I USE TO WORK FOR HACK SHACK/E.A.I.)

I know that they had an issue with those valves and water. Now they run stainless steel so that doesnt happen.

yeh, alot of valves on the market today DO NOT handle water very well at all. make sure you check that before goin and purchasing some. also, try a silicone spray in your valves, they will love you for it

I already knew valves & water don't get along very well. Its just my Home Depot Water Trap sucks balls. I'll have to try some Silicone spray, i used what lil air tool oil i had left.

^^^ well thats a bit of a misconception actually. if you look around at the valves that have been plucked from industrial applications (graznow, SMC, parker etc.) they are actually built to transfer air, noble gases and WATER/oil. so check some of them out. you cannot kill em, unless you never perform maintenance on your system
