What would be involved to lay out the front if I wanted to put factory parts back on my truck? I currently have 2" dropped spindles off an s10 and want to go back to factory dakota parts. This stuff has been a pain in my ass.

i used 3 inch lowering control arms from djm and a set of s10front cups lays out on twenties what size wheel you runnin

I am running 20s. Yea I was thinking of control arms. Does anyone know if the byc or kustom werks come with any drop built in?

what kind of front setup do you have?
fatheadjames   +1y
It's some cups with half of the s10 control arms welded to half the factroy arm. Then it has 2 inch s10 spindles.

well, try to find some factory arms, or aftermarket, then try and find some spindles. its prolly gonna cost a fortune though but its not hard to do to lay out on 20s on the stock parts. you'd have to get new wheels though.

Why would I need new wheels? The ones I have are dakota lug pattern. The truck was redrilled but not right. That's part of the reason I want factory parts.

this isn't a shot at you, but why bother changing the front lug pattern when those wheels aren't exposed lug?

I'm not trying to change the lug pattern. It's six lug and I have new wheels but haven't updated my pics yet. That's one of the reasons I want to put factory stuff on. The previous owner put s10 parts up front but didn't want to buy new wheels at the time so it was drilled to six but not very well. Since I have to buy new parts might as well convert back to dakota to make my life alot simpler.
