OK.. i have figured out how do do the steering.. so now that thats covered... I'm wanting to know how big of a WHORE it is to move the breaks, steering coloumn (w/ ignition switch), guages and all that other goodness over. I'm going to keep my factory guages until i build a dash w/ aftermarket ones. And will probably rock the no dash look for a little bit just to accomplish the RHD. I haven't yet taken the dash off to see if there is enough slack in the wires to move everything over or what??? I also have not yet looked at the pedal situation.. are there pre exsisting holes/bolts for all this stuff? Because the firewall looks like a mirror immage from the other side. Any help is appreciated! Thanks
Mike

BUMP... someone has to know this!

All the wires will move over just fine. The firewall is almost a mirror image. You will have to drill holes for all the brake, clutch, and steering. If you are handy with tools it isnt a huge project, IF you have the front worked out.

easiest is to contact some of the street source guys on here from australia. they can ship you every thing you need to do it correctly for dirt cheap. you dont have to figure out steering, its a bolt in procedure. dont forget they have junk yards too. i bought a hafl cut (front half of a car) and shipped it to LA for 950 including shipping!! if you did the same thing, you would have a factory RHD dash, and the wiring harness, and everything else you need... screw makin things do it correctly with the factory parts.. its easier, and its all a bolt on project

Well my RHD steering box should be here this afternoon or tomarrow morning. I'm making my own dash.. the biggest concern was the wiring... if they had enough slack in them to fold over and be put on the other side or not. I was hoping to get some feedback from people who have already tackled this task. I will probably leave the guages in the center if its that big of a stretch for things like the speedo cable and what not. But i have to move the ignition switch and all that goodness over.. unless i want to make it push button or some shit. And this will probably be a 3 day EVENT! Free pizza will defenatly be there Dallas!

hmmmm thats interesting you got it all for that cheap. I really want to run a stock RHD dash on mine... I just can't find anyone to ship that and a steering box!

The wires will move around, I have taken 5 mazdas apart now. Yes I am tackling the RHD task just like others. You don't need to get a RHD box to make it work, sure it would help. BUT YOU NEED MORE THEN JUST THE BOX.

I will post pics of what I did to mine next week or so, I am in no hurry to show anybody.
