RHD Questions - dash/breaks/electrical

Yes, the holes are the same. I didnt want to cut any brackets so I swaped the frame rails to the opposite sides so everything mounted without having to create any new bracketry. Obviously there is many ways to do it.

I used two different frames. The frame that came with the truck was hacked to shit, the control arms were no longer in there stock postition. So I used a different frame and took the control arms section off of that. BUT the stock frame had fucked up steering, so I used the steering off the hacked up frame plus some 2x3 to get what you see above.

And that probably confuses thing more.....

Either way, sounds like there is going to be a grip of RHD mazda's out. Maybe I should just get rid of steering all together.....lol....

Ok I guess since you had to fix it all in the first place you may as well have done it the way you did....

But to just cut the rails off to switch sides is more work than cutting a couple small brackets off and welding one new tab on...which is a lot easier.

Either way it got the job done and thats all that matters.

you've got a tab on the original drivers side that wasn't there in the first place, and is useless now.

I understand you did it this way because the front was fubar'd anyways.

but for anyone else doing it I don't see the point in doing it your way... its more work than neccessary.
