Lately it seems everything i read has people narrowing the rear ends to get wheel to tuck anyone have any info on this. How much do they narrow them? I was thinking of running a 19x7 with a 45 mm backspacing (think i said that right not to sure about wheel stuff),will i need to narrow it or will i be ok.

Thanks

that will tuck like crazy. 19x7 with +45 is 5 3/4 backspace, more than enough.

I know when I have my 17's on there and jack it up as far as it will go it does rub the sides of the bed. I just didn't know it it was the wheels or the axle. But I want 20's

thanks.

hmm I know trikblue86 (mike brott on here) has a ranger rear in his and it looks narrower, his wheels tuck like mad

But I would still tape it, if its wider than a stock mazda rear just get a toyota rear, same bolt pattern and narrower. Because narrowing a rear costs a LOT. My good friend nic paid like 800 to do his..

If i remember correctly on mikes mazda, that is a stock (non-narrowed) rear end

i used a rearend out of a 82 mazda pickup in my nissan and it worked pretty good, had to modify the drive shaft but it tucked my 20's in perfect.

Yep, I better check out a yota rearend.
