when shortening a rear end where should i go to get the right axles? im going to b runnin a 22x10 with 4inch back spacing and im not sure where to get axles

oops sorry, thats what I meant, that it looked narrower than the factory mazda one, not that he had it narrowed.

The shop that did Nic's ordered new axles and shortened them.

Moser enginering can make you any axles you need in three days. They have sifferent performance lavel axles as well. They do outstanding work and they had mine finished in four days give them a call 260-726-6689

Yea mosier is the place to call, you can either send yours in to get narrowed and resplined or you can just order brand new axles for about $200. They can even drill out new bolt patterns if youre putting a ford 9'' under a s10.I dont know where your friend spent $800 unless he went with a posi and discs. I always narrow the housing for around 100, axles are anywhere from 120-250, and everything else is just extra.

Edit: The ford 9'' doesnt have a centered pinion,its a good idea to center it with all the work associated with narrowing one.

ok i know this is a different vehicle, but i have a 2001 Chevy silverado..how much does it cost to narrow a rear axle? I need to get 22"s to fit.
