Hey guys I've been reading this forum and it seems that guys with MacPherson suspensions are split between air and hydos.I want to know what would be the best on my 2002 Toyota Corolla. Can I use cylinders?,strut bags?,Pumps?.Keep in mind that this is my only car so its gonna be something i drive everyday and I dont want to drag concrete...yet.So,what are my best options?

juice is fun and can ride very good if you use accumulators, but if reliability is your main concern, I would go with some type of air setup, just call some shops and see what they make for your car.

We sell all air suspension parts, But have recently become a Black Magic Hydraulics dealer and are selling allot of hydro parts.

It works well if you get good stuff and set it up right. Quality product with a correct instalation and you will not have many problems.

reliability lies within the install.

Take it from someone that has experimented with just about every adjustable setup for mac cars and juice it. If you get a quality setup and don't half-ass the install you'll have way less problems than you'll have with air on macpherson. Juice will also ride alot better than air will on that car. If you need any help with it hit me up at CLNSHVNnDRAGGN@aol.com

^^^agree, i am running one toyota with a 2 pump prohopper setup and one toyota with an airbag setup, the toyota with air drags smoother because there is no reprocution from the cylinder, juice is a lot more stiff of a ride because there is always some fluid in the system, where as air is always in the system as well but the airbag gives a lot more travel and give thana hydraulic stroke, i have no problemw ith either and wouldnt mind having a juiced car but i thinki with the corrolla you should go with a strut bag, they ride really nice and have an ease of install, give us a call if you have any other questions deciding or if you need help with deciding on parts,

i ran my 93 corolla with juice and it rode like rocks until i tossed the springs and put in accumulators. after that it rode as smoothe as stock. with a good install, you're biggest problem will be how messy you wanna get working on it.

Not sure I understand everything you're saying but it's not making much sense. If he uses accumulators (which you have to with macpherson) that will absorb any shock just as good if not better than a bag will. I also don't see how you're figuring he can't get as much lift with juice as he will with a bag. On a corolla he should be able to run a 8" ram up front giving him just as much lift if not a little more than a strutbag will. The other problem he's gonna have with strutbags is minimal drop. 2" at ride height and 4" total is the norm for them. With juice, depending on how much he wants to cut out and what size wheels he runs, he'll be able to put the car on the ground. I tried just about every possible setup on my Sentra (macpherson suspension) because I was totally against juice. It was the biggest mistake and waste of money I've ever had. Air and Macpherson don't mix if you want to get low.

Hey thanks for the big insight man.I always thought hydros were shit until I read this forum and now after your comments I am like 95% sure Im going to do juice. The only thing is would it be okay to go with just a one pump set-up?.And I live on a dirt road(for now) would that be any cause for concern?.
