is there such a thing? I have a friend that had his doors shaved at a reputable body shop and the used some type of filler! No welding!!! 1 yr later still no cracks or anything, anyone know what might have been used??

probably a panel bond. Its an adhesive they use to put bedsides and sometimes on place of quarter panels on.

seems ghetto to me. i would weld and metal finish because nothing would beat having a friend slam the door and have the filler pop out.

OK, I have never heard of this, So what you are saying is I can get some of this and shave my owns handles even though I don't know how to weld.

we had a filler made for the glue,it was kinda like kitty hair but made by the same company as the glue.it is possible for the handle to still show,i never thought about that,i have seen alot that was welded that still showed also
