dude dont go with a holley they are nothing but trouble if your going to do a carb conversion use a weber holley is ok but they give alot of problems i sell holley carbs and webers ive had nothing but problems with them plus webers just bolt right up

hmm, the holley 5200 is an exact copy of the weber dfev, in fact you can use most of the weber rebuild kits and even weber jets on them.

I have been running a Holley 5200 for several years now and had no problems with it at all. As long as you get one from a car that is about 2.0-2.3 liters it will run great. If you have problems with it you either don't know what you are doing or your truck has other problems.

The holley 5200 is not based completly off the DFEV or the DGAV it is based off a combination of those and the 32/34 DFT which was Webers "emission friendly" version of the DGAV. It featured places in the casting for car manufacturers to machine in additional devices as they saw fit.

As for a book, I've been working on one for the last 9 months. The manuscript is currently about 6 chapters and 180 pages and I still have 7 chapters to go.
