I built my 454 to a 460 witch isnt much but I was try'n to keep it on the ECM & TBI but if The problem with it is what I think it is I'm pulling out all the stops because I already have to have my ECM reworked to get it to run right so if I'm going to rebuild the engine I'm guna get after it

Thanks Guys, I'll work on the build thread tonight,

I dont have any engine picts but I do have picts of my procharger, The specs for the 505 are; 1978 GM Tall Deck truck block 10.2 high deck, Callies 4.250 Dragon Slayer crank, CompStar 6.800 Long H beam Connecting Rods, SRP 4.350 Pistons, Solid Roller Cam shaft custon ground for the procharger, O ringed block, Studded mains and Heads, Bill Mitchell 3.20cc Cast iron rect port heads 2.30 intake valve race ported. Dart Tall Deck Intake. The reason I built a big Bore Tall deck with a super long rod is to have a better rod to stroke ratio and I wanted a combination that would be able to not have as much piston side loading. The engine is not yet assembled and I plan on running a C&S blow through carb set up for Methenol so I dont have to plumb in an intercooler and be a little cheaper to operate at the race track. The engine should make well over 1000 HP with the boost turned down. It's going into a 1966 Nova that is in the process of being Back Halved.

I also have a 1977 C10 that I have had since High School, I drag raced it for years but It's reached its limitations and I would like to go Faster at the dragstrip that 12's
