Need to know how to hook up a viair pressure switch with relay to a engine driven compressor, has 4 wires 2 red 1 white 1 black.
You don't really need the relay with a EDC. Just hook the pressure switch to a fused hot wire and a wire from the other prong on the switch to the clutch on the EDC.
it doesnt have prongs, its one of them new pressure switches with a relay built in, it has 4 wires coming out, 1 white that says connect to load or compressor power wire, 2 little red wire says connect to trigger/ switch positive, 3 big red wire says connect to fused positive power source, 4 black says connect to grounding point (or control switch) Dont get what all that means?
1.white goes to backup electric compressor and edc
2.goes to ignition
3. battery
4.ground
got it hooked up, but compressor runs past 200 and doesnt shut off, i hooked both power wires to same source of power could that be it??? Im thinkin bout chunkin it against the wall. Any 1 know what it could be? I know its runnin to 200 cause have gauge on tank.
You connected the pressure switch to the tank, right?
NAW HOOKED IT TO THE HEADLIGHT, OFCOURSE IT HOOKED TO TANK

lmao
ummm....try unhooking the smaller red wire, and see if it shuts off. If it does, the switch might be stuck. Is the pressure switch new or used?
