Im getting ready to do a new frame on my 99 dakota.I was wanting to know what all i would need to do and get to lay the front end on 22s please help me out with this question.

if you are building a whole new frame, then just build the frontend to lay on 22s.

How much for upper and lower control arms and how long would i have to wait, and a custom crossmember so it can lay harder then using the stock crossmember.

Isn't the front of your truck set up for a 27 1/2" tall tire already? Didn't a shop on the net post how they did your front end step by step? Cause if it's the same truck, a 255/30/22" tire is 28" even. You should be able to squeeze a 1/4" from somewhere on those arms.

No mine is set up for 26"tall tire.I have 235/35/20" tire right now and it rubs against the inner fender when it lays out.Do you remember what shop on the net posted the front end step by step.

I had my truck bagged and bodydroped from art of noise.

ah, ok, nm then, i was thinking of a different truck. if your taking it to scrapen customs for a full frame, i'm sure they'll just make a mustang II work for what you need.

How many inches do i have to narrow the axle to make the 22s fit in the back.
