hey I just noticed you are from parker.. I may have asked this already but when I was out there (castle rock) a few years ago I noticed a couple minitrucks behind a house by castlewood canyon. There was a mazda and I think a vert ranger. Any idea who that is?

im not sure. im pretty much a loner. i know OF a few truck guys but i dont hang out with anybody. iv been here for 3 years now. the only trucks i see behind a house near castlewood canyon is on hwy 86. if your at the (one) light in franktown and you go west its about 1/8th of a mile on the north side of the srteet. and its only a couple 67-72 chevys but they look stock, just beaters. i work in castle rock. why were u here? work or somethin?

hmm, this guy lives right on the corner of the highway and the castlewood canyon road, all his trucks are parked out back of the house.

I was in castle rock to visit friends, my wife's best friend moved there several years ago.

cool. i pass by their everyday so maybe i can check it out and make a freind. lmao.

ps my smoking is steadily getting better and better. and i havent changed any variables.

do u know any tips for getting emissions down? its the air/fuel mixture. it has new exhaust on it and new cat(the 2nd cat) and the O2 looks newer....

...wow this is actually pretty cool...Cuz i'm having the same problemSmokes SOMETIMES when i start it up in the morning, but not at all when im driving-or once it's warmed up.Anyway, my uncle said it was the valve seals(guessing by the symptoms),so i had the head FULLY re-builtCome to find out, my head was cracked, so it ended up costin $350, but at least i knew the problem was fixed.NOPE!Not at all, in fact it runs almost exactly the same, with the exception it doesn't ping up hills, and has a LITTLE, VERY LITTLE, more bottom end.So could it be the rings?Even though it doesn't smoke when i'm driving or once it's warmed up??It does seem like it should have more power though...

i guess it follows the whole 'when in rome, do as the romans' thing. if you have a mazda and it doesnt smoke- your not cool.

sounds like valve seals to me , when the motor is hot like after say 20/30 minutes of driving it has no smoke but when started up after all night it looks like james bond is in town .
my x-cab mazdowg did it for like 2 years before i sold it ,smoked like a train when cold but ran 85 90 mph all day long.

its a sign, pull it out and drop in a small block.

Ok sweetWhether james bond is in town or it's a sign from god-still doesn't answer my questionIs it possible my rings could be bad even though it doesn't smoke once it's warmed up?...cuz of the rings expanding or whatever...

I have heard of carbon build up. but i just ran seafoam through mine and now it smokes more im just gone rebuild it. and as for droping a V8 in thats for the 86. this 92 will stay pretty much stock few mods here and there but nothing major like the 86
