Firewall back... its not realy that much more work than just the back half... you would now have 4 body mounts that you would need to locate and you would need to rebuild the tranny cross, and mount some fuel/brake lines under the cab.. Getting the cab off is probably the hardest part about it.... now just remeber that your stock frame is only like 4.25" tall anyways so your only going to gain about 1.25" is you do a 3x2 rail.

Doin a full frame requires more fab skills, and a good understanding of front suspension design and geometry else your gona have a hell of a time gettin it to actualy drive straight down the road with no crazy bump steer or other odd handleing characteristics/ horrible tire wear patterns.

3" to the bottom of the rocker i went out and measured the other night just for shits and giggles 3 1/2" goes into the rocker on my truck and i still have a solid frame that hasnt been dragged all to shit so i figure my measurements are right

i think i am going to pull the cab and cut the top of the frame and shorten it about 1 1/2' and tehn move the body mounts doen then if i have to do a troditonal b/d i will
