Or realy if you going to atempt something like this the simpler way to do it is, cut the bottom off the frame and move it up, and rebuild the tranny cross, and over Z the front end to get it to lay flat, then plate the frame with 3/16 or 1/4" plate.

Without the plating i would be concerend that the flex in the frame would be so great that your cab and bed wouldbow into each other after some road time.

well i am all ready going to pull the cab to hard line everthing the fuel redo the breaks lines and hardline the air.i was thinking of painting the fame als i am going to plate the top with 5/16

When i said plating i ment the sides, cuz plating the top doesnt help the frame streght and platting the bottom is helpfull but only so you got something to drag, not realy for strength.

if your gonna do a firewall back ya might as well do a full frame, why build a nice frame then have the ugly stock shit attached to it? just my 2Cents
