ok thanx for all the feedback how much do the built ones cost?? cause if they are really exspensive i'll prolly have to build some like onehot69 did, post a better pic, and yea most people on here do build instead of buy but sometimes it is more cost ificiant to buy some that are tested to work great instead of build'n something that will take forever to build then prolly wont work as good thnkx but i could see how to improve yours so if could post a better pic that would be cool

KING of the c-10's blew in from fresno cali biotch! Got lotsa advice and tricks for getting 63-87 suspension to lay frame with out z sectioning and showing you all how to build your own jigs for arms and bodydropless chassis. Im sure you all can figure out how to build a sick single hinge to make it open regular rather than suicide.

I finished the hinge up and got it all painted and whatnot so ill probably take some pics and post tonight. I still have to figure out a latching system for it.

koo i must be a slacker i just z'd my frame and used all the factory stuff but o well yea post some more pics of that hinge design i think i know how it all works but just need to see it

Your trick, one off, spectacular hinge looks like a shopping cart handle. Thats why it was called ghetto. Maybe you could build a jig for one and sell them to Walmart.

i like duct tape. don't need a jig for that....just ur teeth!i like the shopping cart handle...i use them everytime i get groceries

hey, twisted dragger... take some advice from layedouton22z's signature, and buy the way,layedout... you must like football cuz you can practice kicking field goals into the bed of your truck dude.

Yo man, I'm not talking shit or taking anything away from your truck. It looks bad ass and I wish mine was in that kind of condition. I just think a lot of people on here took offense to you saying that you have a better idea. Yeah, the forward tilt hood is a good idea, but you didn't have to ramble on about your plans and act like your truck is going to be superior to everyone else's.
