you should add a motor.

that normally helps.

swap in a b16 or b18 and turbo? with all the goodies? I've heard those do decent.

Are you wanting power or are you wanting it to look good under the hood? If your asking this question though, i'm willing to bet your looking for power.

i am looking for power...i have an engine.i drive my car to work every day, i will not be racing it...i dont want to put $12000 into it at once, in two years i probably will get a new car..
i just want to add a little more punch, (to pass people easier)

don't do a short ram. if you are looking for some decent power. get an AEM cold air. it takes air from outside of the HOT engine compartment and feeds it to your engine. Look on EBAY and find one fo the $119 headers. They are actually just as good as the DC sport and stuff. I had a complete greddy exhaust from header to tip on my prelude and my buddy had in-expensive stuff of ebay and the same car and we were turning the same times.

Look into:
Cold Air Intake (AEM)
Pulleys (AEM)
Header (DC SPORT, GReddy, or EBAY)
Free flow cat (EBAY)
Cat back system (EBAY)

these things should actually give you about 20-30 HP. It will only make your gas miledge go donw, because you will wanna play with it more and you will be in the gas more often to hear the intake and exhaust. but if you drive it sanely, it will give a little better economy, becuase your engine will breath alot easier.

okay...i will check into that...i was just pricing aem crap

you can still runa cold air in the rain, just don't try to go into large puddles or lakes.. i ran a cold air that was only like 2-3 inches off the ground in my prelude for about 3 years and i never once had any problmes out of it.
