I got a 98 ranger i have djm control arms on there now but am lookin for some tublular ones that maybe i could deal with some camber issues and maybe more clearance... i also want someone that will build a quality product and not take 3 years for them to get to me... oh yeah i am wantin to run 22s in the front

Are you wanting adjustable arms or what? I can make pretty much anything you want.

It really dont matterif their adjustable but probably would be better if they were so i could get some of the camber out... oh yeah your work does look killer how much do you think it would cost me?

i think the answer with 98+ rangers is a different spindle. i had been talking to a guy before about using a different spindle coupled with tubular arms before, but never did it. that way you dont have the super tall spindle to deal with.

Depends on what you want. I make arms with stock bushings that accept stock balljoints (as long as they're not press in) for $120 shipped for the upper pair. With heims for adjustability it would add the cost of the heims. I build the arms from all 1/4" wall tube. Adjustable arms I would probably step up to 1 1/4" DOM rather than 1" so I could run weld in bungs.

You have any idea what length you may need them? Like how much over stock? Then I'll build them with the threads half way in at that point for better adjustability.

Also, I've heard of people raising their UCA mounts.

Thats probably a good idea. Any way you could adapt a Toyota spindle? They're pretty short, and the same bolt pattern, and have a lot of parts available.

i dont i think i ran a forum about a year ago about spindles but never came with a solution i dont know if the yota would adapt but it would be good cuz it the same bolt pattern... someone was tellin maybe a mustang spindle but havent really done wny research on that either... well i dont have my stock control arms any more or i would just send them to you to get the measurements.. how would i get the measurements?

Arent the DJM ones the same length? If not, there is probably a site somwhere with the length. Or, you can tell me how much longer they need to be than the DJM arms?

I can probably find a stock arm in a junkyard somewhere to make a model off of. I will need at least one, unless they are different from side to side.

Have you thought about raising the mount? I heard about someone doing this without any problems.

yeah i was talkin to someone that did it said that there is alot of alignment issues and steerin issues when you raise that yeah i guess those djm would be the same length what bout some bottom control arms? can you do them too?

I bet I could. I would have to see them, and get a set of them as well. I haven't done a set of Ranger arms yet.
