^^^ prefer copy and paste myself. When going from one or the other it's just faster to me. my hands are moving on the keyboard just as fast as i'm clicking. So a quick copy and paste is just as fast and efficient as changing window sizes just so you can drag from one to another. If you have CS2 then the new photoshop supports Vector images from AI. If you ever want to heavily modify it once it's in photoshop you can just double click the layer on the layers pallete and it'll reopen the file in AI so that you can edit it some more and it shows back up in PS....

And as for flames and tribals, drawing them out on paper, scanning them in and tracing them isn't a bad way either. A templates nice but i still like to trace my trucks and flames with my mouse. tablets are really good for airbrush work with the pressure sensitive tips, makes it feel like a real airbrush gun...

'smart object' ...this and the improved 'free transform' is why i want to upgrade to CS2.good points Dougy.
