since i still dont have an answer i need to know if i did russ-d's formula right the rims are 22x9.5 they have a +15 offset that came to 6.943" of BS if i did the math right so did i?

BACKSPACING: ((wheel width in inches + 1)/2) + (offset in mm/25.4) = backspace

I get (9.5 + 1) = 10.5 / 2 = 5.25 + (15 /25.4) = .59

5.25 + .59 is 5.84 inches of backspace.

that is 9.5/2 = 4.75 is the centerline, 5.75 backspacing would be 1" offset, would be around +26mm offset

which agrees with cris having +34mm offset on a 9.5 wide, there is an extra 1/2 inch of width (you only add the 1/2 inch added to the FRONTSIDE, the backside 1/2 inch does not add an inch to offset)

Remember that you will need to have the offset coorespond to a width, if a +26mm offset 8.5 fits that does not mean a +26mm offset 9.5 will fit, because it wont.

if 5.5 on 8.5 tucks, then you'll need 6.5 on a 9.5 to tuck, that is why a 10" rim needs 7" bs. so no, i dont see it working.

I've got 22x9'5's front and back, +20mm offset, which is 6" of backspacing, and it's fine out back, but super close up front
