True I just realized it can be bridged and run at 4 ohms and still get 800 watts so do you think this amp would be good for the 2 kicker crv 12's that are rated at 400 watts a piece. so would I run them in series to keep them the 4 ohm dvc's at 4 ohms then if I bridge them would the remain at 4 ohms? If not how would I wire them to run 4 ohms bridged?

Thanks guys

here are the amp specs

that amp will be ok but i would be worried that you will hurt the subs in the long run from being under powered, ill explain

that amp is not going to give you a true 800watts or 400 to each sub more like 250 to each sub if your lucky, the kicker subs will handle more power then they are rated at trust me i have tortured those cvr subs and they can take it, most of the sub damage comes from amps cliping because you are trying to squeeze more power out of them by mis adjusting the gain to make it seem louder when all your doing is adding distorsion and or a cliped signal which will over heat the vc and cause damage, im sure someone who is better at explaining this will help meout with what im trying to say lol

That amp will work just fine just make sure u hook them up in series and then bridge them to the amp o and them cvr's hit hard as fuck in ported boxes

U can not fuck up ur subs by under powering them and the only thing clipping does is cause distortion witch also will not fuck them up

ask people who compete for a living and they will tell you the same thing im telling you so dont say that you cant fuck up your subs by clipping them or under powering them

thanks on the caddy compliment. I would like to run them in a ported box but they are going in my silverado under the rear seat in the sealed box. I heard they are good subs and I am getting them both for $120 so I'm not too worried about abusing them. So I think I will get the 4ohm subs run them in series and bridge them and that will keep them at 4 ohms. right? and by the way do I need to get some output deal to wire them up to my stock 2004 silverado deck and if so how much do the run?

Thanks again fellas
