He's bagged and bd'd on 20's. Bags on radius arms. He gets a good amount of lift. It can be done beau.

its possible to lay frame on 20s, ive done it. just gota cut the poo out of the engine xmember and if you got a 2.3 youll have to raise the motor so the drivers side beam dont bust the pan.if you plan on running juice, i dont see 20s being a problem if your not b/ding it.

Hey i am planning a little project and need to know if any of you crazy bastards have toyed around with narrowing the entire front setup to allow for driving ON the ground!?! Can this be done with Beams at all? What about the guys putting the bags on the Radius Arms (sort of)???

narrowing the beams is pointless. first off radius arms would hit the frame. sure let the guys put them on the raduis arm. i had mine on the beam and got almost 10 in of lift.i drove mine on the ground all the time(not w/ the 18s, tires expensive lol) i never had a prob w/ mine on stockers ridin an inch off the ground....

What's the difference if I'm bodydroppin it or not. Odds are I will be layin rocker. I guess what I'll do is get the truck in my shop and tear into the front of it so I can get a better understanding of what is all down there. Then I'll go from there. I wanna lay, maybe on 20's. I'm gonna build this bitch as budget minded as possible, and things like rims and shit will be picked up used. So I'll take what I can get.

bodydroppin requires that much more lift to clear the tires to turn. lay frame first on 20s, then b/d it.

Is there really that much camber!?! You can TURN an inch off the ground!!! This is very encouraging... Hmmmmm

i could turn a lil w/ stock wheels yes, my 18/20s i could barly turn. expect an assload of camber(pos and neg) when u do the 20s n beams. i had pos camber to turn w/ just the 18s in the front. also it toeing out real bad to is a factor to deal w/.for all that work id just do a yota clip, control arms better ride, less pressure to lift and can ride low w/ hardly any camber to kill your tires

So how about giving me a total break down on what exactly is involved with the addition of a yota clip? Do I gotta rwemove the engine and shit (seems like I would have to)
