2 and a half sould get u there .u also need to do the body mounts. u may have to cut a 1" off the bottom of the frame .

what do you mean "do" the body mounts???

i think im gonna do a 4"Z and spindles and see what happens....

u can get aftermarket urethane body mounts at the part store ,i cant remember the part # . 4" z is way too much. 2.5"z and some spindels, and the body mounts will get u there.just trying to help. o you will need to cut about a 1" off the bottom of the frame too, that if u want to lay rockers. if u lay pichweld the z and spindels will a all u need.

so you guys are saying with a 2 1/2 z and drop spindels it would lay pinchweld? you wouldn't have to cut anything off the bottom of the frame to lay pinch? i'm having the same issue. i just want to know for sure what i need to do before i get into it.

actully i just went threw this hole thing....i tired to lay it out on 22's with a 265/35/22..i ended up doin 3 inch drop spindels and tube lowers and a 4 inch z and got frame on ground..the pinch is close but still 1/2 off the ground..here is a pic of it layd out on stockies

so you didn't have to take 1 1/2 off the bottom of the frame? and why did you need the lower control arms? what did they hit? that's how low i want mine. on 22s

that right there is laid out on frame.i did not cut frame at all....i got lowers just because not 100% if u NEED them..u are gonna have to redo steering shaft and firewall if u want it to lay with just zing the frame...u can do the crossmember section but to much work to me...
