2.3 engine problems

THanks guys. I actually just busted a hole in my fuel cell so i ordered a new one with an aftermarket fuel pump. So if the fuel pump isnt the problem then Im stuck on the vacuum leak.

more than likly a vacum leak spray a little water around the carb base or efi base and on all thae vacum lines if the idle picks up you found your problem.just a dumb question have you chanaged the fuel filter.i could be wrong but i belive there is 2 fuel pumps on the rangers 1 in tank and 1 on the frame rail on the drivers side just under the firewall

The fuel filter is under the firewall and yes I have replaced it. Im going to check the vacuums soon.

yea the charcoal canister has a big vacuum line that goes to the bottom of the intake manifold. plug it off and it should run fine, i took mine off
