I have a extended cab shortbox dually, I plan on using longbox dually fenders on a normal short box. the 99-00 shortbox crewcabs have a different dually fender to match the short box and also have a cut-out for the gas door..... I'll try to get some pics of mine up soon.

You Southern Hicks always have the good crap laying around for cheap. I swear, out in Cali everyone thinks their stuff is made out of gold or something. It's pissing me off.

what motor is in that 92?

That extended cab dually I looked at yesterday said that it was a 1988 on the sticker in the window and I did not think anything about it, but then last night I was thinking that a 1988 should be the old square body style in 1988, right? Guess I need to check the door sticker.

What year did the nv4500 start as a 5spd option in the 1 ton chevy's?

No, you could still get the square body in a one-ton and suburban up through '91.

sqaure body crewcab till 91... they made single cab and xcab in the round body from 88^

its a tbi 350 in that 92

So... It was an 88, AND if I can find a crew cab cad, I could just put that in place of the extended cab and switch to the short bed.... Need to locate an elusive crew cab cab now!

I did not open the hood, just looked under it. It was oily, but I could replace it no prob, 350's are everywhere. The automatics in those early chevy's scare me, either they have been replaced or will need to be soon. That is why i want the 5spd. automatics are like black magic, when they break, you just have to bite the bullet and let someone that knows what they are doing have at it, only thing I am not comfortable doing on a vehicle...
