you said you are lookin for people who are bagged and tow pretty big trailers, i dont consider a car trailer a big trailer.... like i said, whatever setup you choose make sure the ride is stable, you arent adding that much weight with a loaded car trailer, but you dont wanna lose control with your truck bouncing all over the road....

i guess we all have a different sense of big, lol. yea by big i meant car trailer with a vehicle on it. sounds like my setup will work, just kinda worried bout the stones, but we'll see. but yea i'll have shocks and all to make sure its stable.

well lets do some math.... suburban total weight stock= about 4800 lbs... firestone 2600s=2600lb capacity each..... i'd prolly say the weight is alittle more to the front, so we'll divide it 2600lbs front, 2200lbs rear (thats probably way wrong but oh well)... your airbags on each end can carry 5200lbs of weight... in the rear say we have 2200lbs vehicle weight, 500 lbs of people and misc items. then we have a max trailer weight of 6500 lbs, so 10-15 % of that should be tongue weight of we'll say 750 lbs..... thats only 3450 lbs on the rear suspension, even if my numbers are off on the vehichle weight distribution, it still leaves a window of nearly 2000 lbs for the airbag rating....

that sounds about right, also seems more like a worst case scenario which is good to go by. so occasionally towing a truck to a show shouldnt be an issue. i was thinking of putting the slam 8 series out back, but if the 2600's can hold the weight, i guess i can go with those.

firestones are used on tractor trailers & dumptrucks. as long as you are within specs you should have no problem w/ a stone.

I towed my 18ft car trailer with a C-10 on it using a rear bar setup with 3600# bags with no problems at all with my 1/2ton shortbed.

true the problem with them is running high psi they wont hold it

for a smooth ride and great bag strength go slams.little more money but worth it

i hear abraham.

vinny, thats exactly what i want to hear. i have a similiar setup going in. i looked at your setup before so if u can tow, cool. i see you're using slam bags. what kind, i planned on using my 2600's that i have laying around. i plan on towing my s10 sometimes, so thats 5200 lbs the bags can support, i would assume thats enough.Yep there ES72 2600's

that is true, but if runs bags on the bars, there wont be 5200 lbs of load capacity in the rear anymore. if the bag is mounted halfway on the lever bars, the bags will see thier max load capacity (5200 lbs) at 2600lbs of loading.
