I usually don't asked other peoples opinions on my truck, cause its for me noone else, but I'm not sure what I want to do. This pertains to my 74 cc dually chevy. Originally I was going to do a 3.5" bdydrp and a 3.5" stock floor and go to the doors. But after looking at some pics I don't think it looks right(out of poportion). I was going to build a parrallel 4 link with a watts, using SD's super pivots on one side and bushing on the other. How big of tubing should I use and are the super pivots necessary. This isn't my first bag job and the other was more than okay but I was just wanting some first hand experiance. I will be using this for towing.

P.S. Thanks Campy and Pig for saying what needed to be said. I agree with you 100%

I'm confused? What are you looking for an opinion on? The body drop, or the 4-link?

I'm generally not a huge fan of body drops. I kinda like the look of a truck that only lays frame. I dunno, I'm weird, and DEFINATELY the minority. (Don't worry Drag and Lock, I still love you guys. )

As far as the 4-link goes, it's all greek to me. I'm a static kind of guy.

But what the hell do I know? I drive a frickin Taurus.

Are you gonig to use round or square stock for the link?
huskerdually   +1y
Round, and I was going to use a sleeved bag. What do you got for 4 link ends.

I build most of my bars from 1.5" dom tubing. The 4 link ends I have instock are 2"od and 1.5"id 1/4 wall and 2" wide.

$10ea bushings and inner sleeve included

They are availabe in widths up to 3".

I am personally not a fan of sleeve bags but they do the job.

You don't like the sleeve bag. I never used them but heard it gives a better ride. I want like 14" of lift and 7500 lbs of support.
