how can i achieve this?

if the primer and paint are both urethane and not much paint is mixed in. then i dont see how it will mess it up? your still gota sand it when your done then seal it to paint it so it should be ok.

im going to tint my primer and then when i go to paint it maybe reprimer it and then paint over it so i no it will stick

I used a base coat that was the same color as that on my truck. Look at just2low4urho, i used a green basecoat for my flames, and it was all just a primer job
