The Uni-body Drop has Started (New Pics pg 16)

Well that was a fucking pain in the ass. took about 45 min to get the huge plastic nut for the fuel pump to finally thread on correctly. then took me about an hour & half to bolt the tank back up. It took so long cause i had no idea the exhaust was in the way lol......................Not sure if it will start yet, i don't have jumper cables & the battery in the neon is Drained. But on a good note, the old fuel pump looked horrible

not sure if this was brought up in the 15 pages before, but are you planning on attending the east coast havoc show? I know they were looking for some mini inspired cars. if so hit us up so we can get some footage!

Trying to get the neon road worthy for heat wave. Then after that i plan on doing the wire tuck on the engine & getting the car ready for paint

So i went home early from work today cause i was sick. I tried relaxing around the house all day & well i just couldn't. So i decided to do something small that would keep me from boredom. I planned on smoothing out the welds of my tank, but i talked myself out of it cause i really didn't want to weaken it. The tank i have didn't have any brackets on it, so i made some. Then i slapped a couple coats of Trim Black on it & a GFC sticker. Came out nice, just wish i would have smoothed out the welds. Oh well



Tomorrow after i work i plan on doing some sheet metal work in the trunk.

well today i got off work around 2pm.................i said fuck it, IM GONNA DRAG THE NEON. I mounted the tank, compressors & my valves, then i rewired everything. I'm still having the issue with my front end so i did it down the street in my neighbor hood. I was only doing about 5mph & it felt great!!! i pulled the neon back into the garage & i raised the front end to inspect the damage. For sure im dragging K-Member, Pinch Welds, Floor Pan, Exhaust, Gas Tank, & then an over sight..................i'm also dragging Tranny Pan. My oil pan is about a 1/4 to 1/2" off the ground as well. So the way i feel now, since im gragging some vital parts to the car.................i don't plan on doing this as much as i would like to. Next time i do it will be to get it on vid.

Looking bad ass...but what else is new!!

what are you doin on the front to make it drivable? im almost done body dropin my grand am, it will be at heatwave.
