Dude, listen to what you're saying..... you talk about "common sense". That it's "common sense" that if you were to drink something like muratic acid would kill you....... "COMMON SENSE" would tell you NOT to put a 22" tire on a 22.5" rim!! So what if people have done it before with no problems "so far", but what exactly do you think the warning label is for bro? Just something to spend an extra penny on to make the cost of producing the tire round off to the next dollar? The point is not whether it's possible or not, it's obvious it's possible, but it's N o t S a f e !! You don't stick a square into a round hole, sure you could hammer the square in to go into the round hole, don't make it the right way....... I mean don't get me wrong here bro, I understand that things have been done, many bounds have been surpast, despite many of peoples warnings. That's why this sport is what it is, because we are the people who push the limits to accomplish the unknown........ I just see it like this..... would you drive your car or truck, with your friends, or your family, on only 3 lug nuts just because you felt that was enough lug nuts and could save money on by not purchasing the others that were "required"?
