What an unorganized sounding operation this is...

So I get an RA #... on top of that i've got to send proof of purchase (i dunno, the fact im sending 2 compressors in seems like proof of purchase to me) as well as a letter stating that they were to be repaired for the recall..(i thought that was what the RA# was for ?)

He never even asked me what my bar code #'s were either...

im so freakin sketched out about this... like these things arent cheap and i've got to send them out there and 'hope' that they send them back... ughhh.

Doug give me some re-assurance here dude.

I have just got 2 of these and they are 5's. I'm not paying for shipping I live in Australia, these compressors cost me a shit load just to get out here and i haven't even taken them out of the box yet.

its nice to see them recall them if they know they are having a ton of problems with that batch....ive been running my AZ at 200psi to two 3 gallon air tanks with NO problems...its my daily driver as well...it never on for longer than 5mins..maybe 3-4times a day

im a happy customer

Yeah, i have one an my daily driver and i run it to 200 psi on an 8 gallon tank and it runs like a champ, its ends with a 5, but im not worried about it, id be out more money if i couldnt drive my car a long period of time, so ill just take my chances

yeah its fucking rediculous, u can think what you want but i am waiting on my 4th replacement and everything is wired up perfectly and they still just break down. i used to talk up my AZ compressor even after the first one failed giving them the benefit of the doubt but i have come to realize that these AZ compressors are junk. to those of you that has good luck with them, do you use them for your daily drivers?! its just hard to believe that any of these have proved the test of time for the short period that they have been available. i only run my AZ to 175 on a 5gallon tank and i am not very switch happy... i have turned 3 of my friends away from buying these. The only good thing i can say about them is that when my 3rd one went out i called them up and paul agreed to send me a prepaid shipping label so i didnt have to pay again.i asked one of the ladies on the phone if the warranty was extended after each compressor was replaced and she said " um, i think so... i dont know for sure but i think they are"

AZ told my friend that "these compressors are not meant to be used on a daily driver". WTF? so you 're admitting that your 100% duty compressors are not meant to be used on a regular basis? Crap

100% duty does not mean it can be run daily or not, it refers to the duty cycle of the compressor and even 30% duty compressors can be run daily

That doesn't make any sense

What doesn't make sense about that.

The duty cycle has no correlation to the compressor being on a daily driven vehicle. You can run a 30% duty compressor on a daily or on a purely show vehicle it makes no difference.

I dunno what doesn't make sense about that.
